What We Do
Bluesight Company Information
Bluesight Systems was formed in 2008 to introduce a new technology to the UK market – a smart sensor that could track and count people by using a ceiling-mounted camera. Since that time, we have expanded our products and capabilities to address a wide range of measurement tools in retail, research, brand engagement and advertising.
We sell to systems integrators and specialist resellers in the UK and Ireland. We provide technical support, pre and post sales consultancy and have links with partners who can bring specific expertise to a project.
Technologies
We primarily specialise in image-processing based technologies that use webcams, IP cameras or custom-designed ‘smart’ cameras. Whilst many technologies are available for customer tracking, we prefer to use the visible spectrum as it ensures that we observe all visitors within a space, rather than only a subset.
By combining technologies and blending the resultant data, we bring rich insight to our customers.
Markets
A major segment of our business is associated with the digital signage market, but this, in turn, addresses many industry sectors. We have customers in retail banking, automotive, pharmaceutical, advertising, DOOH (Digital out of Home), travel agencies, retail and fast food amongst others.
